• Bellapais - 13th century Abbey and village (made famous by the author Lawrence Durrell in his book "Bitter Lemons of Cyprus").
• Salamis - large, impressive site of Roman ruins
• Crusader castles - several of these are nearby including St Hilarion Castle.
• Karpas Peninsula - beaches, wild donkeys and turtle nesting sites.
• There are also many local beaches and many other places of interest.
